Lower Gallatin Drought Forum

Date: August 7, 2017 Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Event Description The Greater Gallatin Watershed Council will host a series of public forums in communities across the Lower Gallatin focused on drought impacts and experiences. These forums, which will occur in Bozeman, Belgrade, Four Corners, and Manhattan, will include speakers sharing how drought affects specific sectors like agriculture, recreation, and municipalities in each community. The forums will also give participants the opportunity to share their own experiences preparing for and addressing drought and discuss how communities and sectors across the Lower Gallatin can become more resilient to drought. Each forum is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided. Register to attend by contacting Madison Boone, Big Sky Watershed Corps Member, (406) 582-3281, madison.boone@montana.edu or visit 903 North Black Ave., Bozeman, MT 59715.
